Champagne! Do You Like It

Moet and Chandon champagne on offer in Sainsburys for £52.99 litre bottle glad I don't like champagne that would buy me quite a few presents or wine and brandy.

I like champagne and enjoy moet but that still seems dear...had a look, its not 1 litre, its a magnum, 1.5 litres or the equivalent of two bottles. Great for a party but a bit much for one person...although Churchill said that a magnum is the ideal size for two people, one's self and the wine waiter!

Nope,it's headache juice. A nice crisp lager with dinner and a B&C just before bedtime.

Agree with PP I love the widow too, but since I can't always justify the cost I settle for a nice prosecco. Though on occasion I have bought Tesco Premier Cru Champagne price is very reasonable and it is extremely quaffable! (even beat the great Champagne houses in a blind tasting!)
