Sounds lovely - anyone know what kind of wine it makes? I mean, what could you compare it to?
I suspect you can make wine, of a sort, from most if not all soft fruits.
Tomato wine anyone ?

That said some might need adjusting in the mix to get them to ferment well.
Apparently its like Fino Sherry....
I think you can make wine from just about anything.

And frankly, anyone who has been to university,or boarding school, will have probably tried making it from most things.
I grew up in Guernsey, where tomatoes were a major source of income until the Dutch growers caught on. My parents tried a bottle of tomato wine from the Tomato Marketing Board - they said it was the most disgusting thing they had ever tasted! I would think it would be very acidic.
