Just been reading an article about Adolf Hitler. He was an animal lover and a strict vegetarian, so couldn't have been all that bad. When Germany was attacked, he had to retaliate, as any patriot would have done. He still has millions of followers today, what other statesman could claim that?

Atilla the Hun?
genghis kahn, now he was just a misunderstood ole softy
He was not evan German so why would he be a patriot. Apart from what he did to humanity, he had an relationship with his neice so he was guilty of incest also
What about Ivan The Terrible, i mean he had issues and a bad childhood but still he liked dogs
Pol Pot 'Noodle'... Communist pig but not all bad... inventor of the world's tastiest snack...
Pontious Pilot wasn't all bad, at least he didn't work for Ryanair
and lets not forget mugabee, he's actaully doing a lot behind the scenes for race relations, he just doesn't like to boast about it
Good old Stalin wasn't a bad sort as well. He managed to kill 20million of his own country folk.
Oh and of course a real heroine of mine, Imelda marcos, imagine the commission I could have earned there?
you'd of been able to retire Dot!
Hitler was a kindly uncle figure to children, apparently. Well, Aryan ones anyway. 'Uncle Dolf', the children of high-ranking Nazi Party members would call him.

Stalin, too, was a kindly uncle figure to children.

So maybe totalitarian dictators are not all bad. Just 99.999% bad. I'll bet Franco kept a pet hamster.

Is this a joke?
Hitler was Austrian, with a (possibly) natural Jewish Father. He hated the Jews mainly because this Father left his Mother in poverty.
He wasn't attacked,he did the attacking.
He first invaded Austria, with the excuse that the Austrians wanted to be part of Hitler's Reich, many did,but equally many did not;but they had no choice.
When the rest of Europe did nothing he saw this as the green light to invade the "sudetenland"which was part of Czechoslovakia. It was only when he invaded Poland (with which we had a treaty guaranteeing them safety) that WW2 was declared.
Hitler claimed that all these invasions were to give German peoples "Lebensraum",which translates as "Living Room" or room for them to expand. It wasn't long before many Germans realised that Hitler was just another dictator invading as many countries as he could occupy and dominate.
Please don't try and tell me that Hitler was a poor innocent, with these nasty bully countries trying to destroy him because it won't work.
My wife was in one of Hitler's Concentration Camps,so I know a lot about it.I also served in WW2,so you could say I was an eye witness?
This question has to be a wind up,because I don't believe anyone could be so stupid as to ask it seriously!
