anyone suggest a very very cheap wedding venue for me and my bloke in the uk just me and him my daughter and 2 witnesses?

yes, go to a register office, it is by far the cheapest way to do it

you can get married at any registry office in the uk, and there are some lovely ones out there. you could get a posh hotel nearby to make a weekend of it

if you want to get married in a hotel for example, you have to pay the registrars fees And the hotel fees, making it more expensive. As most liscensed wedding "venues" usually cater for more than 5 people, you will probably find yourself paying for a big room that you wont use to it's full potential. if you want very very cheap, do it at a register office and then go to a hotel

when i was married, we looked at getting marrid at one of the lakes at snowdon - unfortunately at the time the law hadn't opened up and you had to get married n a permanent dwelling!

My mate got married at gretna green...her 1st marraige was in a big church with all the trimmings and yet it was the worst day of her life....she told me all about her 2nd marraige in gretna green and it sounded lovely!!!

i know of someone that got married in a hot air balloon, they had the ceremony in the air then when they landed they went to a hotel with a health spa for the weekend
