My partner and I split up and our son lived with her and she claimed tax credit, now he lives with me and I work full time so I think I should now get tax credit. How do I go about sorting this out,who do I contact?

Yes you should be claiming now as he lives with you. So I ring Tax Credit Helpline on 0845 300 3900. Good luck! Remember to mention any child care charges you may paying as you also get help with these costs. x
Agree with Celia, also remember(if you already haven't) to get the family allowance in your name.
you mite also be entitled to working tax credit. you can ask them on the phone number you were given earlier. i know i claim through the csa for my sons dad to pay maintenance. if you son is now living with you there could be a chance to can get maintenance from her. Depending how old your child is you can get help with nursery fees and after school acre if needed.
