Im keeping my fingers crossed for a nice weekend but its looking unlikely, and im going to have to break the news to little CRX that he wont be seeing Thomas the Tank engine tomorrow :( and perhaps even missing out on the trip to the dinosaur park on sunday. These are the only 2 days we can see friends and relatives and celebrate his birthday.

does anyone know of any great days out for littles ones in the Cambs / Essex / Norfolk / Suffolk area?

there will be 2 groups, one consisting of adults and adults who act like kids (hello 4get) and the other with and 9yo, 7yo, two 2ys and 2 babys.

anyone got any ideas? The local playcentre has been done to death and i want to take him somewhere new

I think you should spend the weekend doing what I will be doing. Just staring, kissing and cuddling the little ones :)
Shame Red, My little one went to visit Thomas the Tank, it was a really fab day out!

I'll have a little think about it!
what about breaking it to me :-( runs off crying and hides under table

we saw Thomas last year at the same place and it peed down. It was so disappointing as everything was out in open air with just 1 marquee for refreshments and you can imagine how packed that was.

We spent 30 and all we could enjoy was a 10min journey on Thomas
I think you should buy loads of healthy sweets like those strawberry chew things, loads of healthy fruit and then LABYRINTH on DVD.

What kid would not enjoy that?

im watching the forecasts as they are changing almost hourly.

13 degrees up by you tomorrow and wet, but for Thomas it says 18 degrees and cloudy.

gggrrrrrrrr looks like last minute decisions will have to be made.
I think there may be a go ape somewhere nearish to you...
but that wont be to great as its outdoors. kids zone or somthing along those lines perhaps?
Question Author
theres a go ape in thetford forest, 4get loves it, but getting a pram onto those ropes might be a bit difficult and a 2 yr old might find it hard too.

good idea for when hes older though, thanks
I always wanted to be in this scene, 4get
