hi.
i was wondering what qualifications (if any) i need to be a family liasons officer for the police force, i have a very good idea of the role but i dont know anyone who works as this proffesion, do you know anyone? with the knowledge i know about the job, i personally think i would be a good candidate for the role, but i have no g.c.s.e's and i have worked in food factories and in commercial shops since i left school (i'm 26) any information about this job would be great, how do i get into it, what training would i need, and do you think the person needs to be very strong mentally to cope with certain situations. i think i would perform well in this job. thankyou x

With no GCSE's I would say you will struggle, they will want a basic level of maths and english
as far as I am aware you need to be a police officer who then trains as a family liaison officer
