how much do you give your babysitter? or if you are a babysitter how much do you usually get?

I give mine �20 for the night.
Sometimes we're only out for a couple of hours but some nights we're out for 5 or 6 hours, so it all balances out.
We also pick the babysitter up and pay for her a taxi home.

I give �15 but my neice babysits for me so I probably get a family discount!

I used to charge �6 an hour, and it tended to get rounded up...for example I'd usually get given �20 for 3 hours

But I was a qualified nursery nurse, so perhaps you would pay someone unqualified a bit less

Rarely use babysitters, but when it's been necessary - �5 an hour, food, non-alcoholic drinks and a taxi home.

My daughter gets �5 per hour (we are in Hertfordshire).

If its family i dont pay as they never take anything, we do each other favours instead.

If like a family friend which would have to be somebody i know i normally pay around �20 also.
