To my horror last night I have noticed that my gums on the bottom front teeth, are receding. I am only 29 and am really worried about this.
I have found this product (Gengigel) and it says it should help.. Has anyone else the same problem but found that Gengigel has helped? Does it help the gum grow back (not even sure if that is possible!)
Also if they carry on receding what will happen? Could my teeth fall out?
I'm off to work in a mo so please don't think I am ignoring any replies will just be too busy slogging my guts out, probably won't be able to reply till tomorrow (daughter's birthday today) :o)

Thank you for any responses xx

75% of the population will have gum disease (periodontitis) at some time in their life - do your gums bleed when you brush them? You should use a soft toothbrush and use mild to moderate pressure in circular motions, and floss daily or use one of those interdental brushes. Avoid hard toothbrush bristles and long horizontal brush strokes and using excessive pressure on your toothbrush. Also use a mouthwash that is alcohol free. If you are worried, see your dentist, unfortunately gum tissue does not grow back, but if it is really bad you can have a skin graft.
