My tip would be to be grateful that you can concieve and grateful for what you get.
eat a mango a day and stand on your head for half hour before sex. then after sex go outside and do the boy dance. Hop on one leg while patting your head and rubbing your tummy. I cant do it which is why some people are unfortunate to have girls.
dont be mean you two lol

There are theories floating around which give advice if you want a boy or a girl but it really does seem to be the luck of the draw Sunita.
yes but tiny is right, you should be happy no matter what you get.

I will be grateful for whatever I have but the thing is due to our finance me and my hubby can only afford to have 2 children, as you know children are expensive. We both work.
Whatever I have I will be grateful, but it'll be nice to have 1 of each.
i guess there are myths saying eat this and you'll get a boy etc but thats all just myths. Sorry for earlier answer but had to be done :-)
i once read that for boys eat more of a certain type of food and for girls another - can't recall what though, but perhaps google it?

also there is theory about the mens sperm and types of food, and also about how warm the testicles are kept - again, can't recall, but you could google
If you google how to concieve a boy you get lots of sites with different information, I advise you to try doing that and judging the information for yourself. I personally wouldn't trust the information though, if it was that easy we'd all have a 'perfect' family.
it would be nice if the sun would shine everyday. but it wont. id say be grateful for any child you are able to have,
I would take any advice particular sites give with a very large pinch of salt.

Many women have followed the instructions given to the letter..only to be sincerely disappointed with the outcome. I was next to one of them on a postnatal ward. A very upsetting experience for me, as my daughter was in special care after almost dying during birth...

As it happens, you have a 50/50 chance of having a boy or girl..let nature take it's course! Mr P and I have two girls (I have a son from my previous marriage) and we won't be having any more children. We feel incredibly blessed to have our daughters :o)
theres nothing wrong with having a preference and trying give nature a nudge...why are some acting like she is being an ungrateful cow ?
I wasn't meaning to sound like that, joko..just wanted to make sure she wouldn't seriously look into the methods you read on the internet ~ Sunita may well follow all the 'instructons' only to feel disappointed in the end.

Many people have a preference for a particular gender, both before and after conception. Indeed, many decide to find out the gender of the baby so they can get used to the idea of it being the gender they didn't wish for! I can't understand this myself, as I never felt such a wish..however each to their own :o)
*instructions*...d'oh!

never mind a baby..I need a new keyboard.
pippa, i didn't mean you - your post wasn't there when i started typing mine.
i thought your post was fine.
as long as its healthy u should not complain however praying to saint felicity is meant to grant you a baby boy
Well I looked at the last bit of my post and after re reading it thought 'ooooer', joko! so again I thought I had better clarify :o)

St Felicity, redhead? oooh I hadn't heard of that one ~ who do you pray to for a girl...St Prada, maybe? lol.

I know that you think I'm being ungrateful, but I will be happy with whatever sex I have. I know how precisious a healthy baby is. Its just that I know after my second child I will be stretching my finances to its limits I can just about making ends meet with one, and I would hate for my daughter to be an only child, so thats why I am having another one.
Apparently, if you have sex on the day you ovulate you will have a girl as girl sperm is quicker than a boy sperm so will get to the egg first.
If you have sex 2-3 days before you ovulate, you will get a boy because by the time your egg is ready to be fertilised then he will just be getting there and any girl sperm that will have reached the egg before the boy sperm wont be successfulI as the egg wont have been ready.
I read that when I was pregnant anyway.
Hi girlygirl - I think that it is the opposite way round, boy sperm swim faster and die quicker but girl sperm take their time but live longer - so if you have sex before you ovulate (easier said than done!) then you are more likely to have a girl because all the boy sperm will have pegged it by the time the egg arrives - if you want a boy leave it to the last minute and let them race it out!!
