UK citizen works abroad can a Mortgage happen?

Can a person working in Germany apply for a joint mortgage in the uk? The other person lives and works in uk? Can this happen as one persons bank will be in Germany being paid euros whilse other is UK pounds bank. What companies would do this? Many thanks in advance!

Anybody can apply for a mortgage here if they reside in the EU. Sounds slightly complicated but try any Bank that offers Euro Mortgages i.e. HSBC, Barclays, Nat West International or Irish Permanent Int in that order. They will probably want an interview but HSBC must have branches in Germany.
