Are there any descendants of Captain Patrick Nagle of The Mall, Youghal, County Cork, who died about 1945,out there, please? He was my grandfather on my mother's side, but we seem to have lost touch with the family. All of his children, who scattered fairly widely, are long since dead, but some of them had children and probably, by now, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

I had not previously seen spudqueen's answer, for which I thank him (or her). I had seen redhead23's answer, but as it was totally irrelevent to the question, and of no help whatsoever, it obviously did not merit a reply.
One wonders why redhead23 posted the message on 10/04/07. It makes as much sense as if someone had asked for an explanation of Einstein's Theory of Relativity and redhead23 had posted a reply that a second cousin had once sold fish at Grimsby.
