Hi. My 7 year old Ford fiesta needs 300 worth of repairs to pass its MOT. For the future, am I better off getting a loan to buy a used car or keep the Fiesta and keep paying for repairs until it dies on me? Thanks.

I would do the repairs and keep the car, 300 is an average garage repair bill these days.
300 notes isnt too big a bill for an mot..
the cars ONLY 7years old. easily worth the cost of getting it mot`d...

ive spent days under a car that wasnt worth the cost of the welding rods.. at 7 years, your car is an easy fix.
:-)
Yes, keep it: 300 is less than a bus pass for the year!
Keep it. A new car will loose 4 or 5 times that much in value in the first year.
Repair it - our last Fiesta was sold at 14 years still as a runner old and our current one is 9 years old
It should will go on for many years yet!
