Me and my sister often say 'Button, button, whos got the button?' and today we noticed how we have no idea what we're talking about! It seems like we've said it forever for no apparent reason, where does the phrase come from? Am i right in thinking its something to do with a game where one person holds a button?! Thanks xxx

Hello Tartanwizard, yes i have made a return to trusty AB. ThankYou for your brilliant answer! I never realised it was from Alice in Wonderland but now that you've said it that's definitely where the phrase if from! I love Tweedleum and Tweedledee, they are true heroes. Thanks for the help! Pop x
in a game of poker a disc called the button is passed around the players clockwise. The player who holds the button is the person who has dealt the cards and that being the best position at the table as you get to see what all the other players have done before you make up your mind what you want to do.
