Hi not sure if i have put this in the right section but we are trying to find a double buggy but would like to hire it first to test it out.

Does anyone know of anywhere that does this or anyone that might be able to help?
I have spent hours on the net looking and soooo sick of the sight of double buggies!!

Thanks in advance!

I may be wrong but i dont think you can as my auntie was looking for the same thing. What type of test were you planning on doing as i think mothercare/mothercare world will let you see if it fits in your boot and that.
Yes if you go to a massive baby store they will let you push round the shop, put it in the car, and generally play with it. I have never heard of a specific hire though like for a weekend or something. Do you have any friends who would let you borrow one.

It is a particular one we r looking at but its side by side and wanted to see if fitted through doors in our area- doc, local shop, local play center etc

sound like could be good business venture!
i had a double buggy many years ago.
it was ideal for a 2 year old and a 6 month old.

it was a maclaren. back in the late 70's they had stripey canvas, if anyone remembers them. a basic one which when folded wasnt very big and left plenty of room in the car boot .

i used to have problems getting into some shops as the doorways werent wide enough.
debenhams used to be a pain as i used to get electric shocks in the handles from the static going over their flooring.
you need extra long arms too unless you use the handles from one of the buggies.

as for todays models, i wouldnt know, but they seem to have every attachment possible which adds up to a weighty larger machine!!!!

good luck with your search.
