The Ostrich perhaps?
I'd hate to see a bigger or heavier one!
Jade Goody?
The Emperor penguin maybe?
The brain is said to weigh heavy on most humans, Jade Goody is out then ......
It's the Great Bustard.

Introduced back into this country three years ago to a safe haven on Salisbury Plain. The last bird disappeared in England around the 1830's after being hunted to extinction for it's vast amount of succulent flesh. It's huge bulk and very slow, ponderous flight made it an easy target. Hope to see one soon.
The ostrich, it appears, weighing in at 345 lbs. Have a look at this great site http://www.victorialodging.com/birding/small_b ig_fast_slow.htm
Amazing amount of information on birds!
The Ostrich, without a doubt.
The heaviest bird that flies is the Great Bustard, but the heaviest flightless bird is the Ostrich.
