My local paper, years ago.

In the classifieds there was a rucksack for sale ...but spelled with an F... somehow it slipped past the proof-readers
Hi sandrajo

The OAP might mean Oral & Penitration or Oranges,Apples & Pears !!!!

Where is the ad I might reply, I love apples !!!!

Maybe they are Bi-Lingual, Don't think I am

lol, no, 22.31 pm.
In the local big news chain ,windows ads:

Having trouble with your horrible teenage children. I can make them behave.
Ex - Rhodesian Police Officer seeks live in position.
Your children will behave within 48 hours - guaranteed.

so then w~m, when did you place that ad then!!

there was one in our local rag for a "mature lady, seeking 40something man. must be hardworking, loving and trustworthy. must like nights out and love animals".
Personal ads is basically what I do for a living. I'm looking at one now that starts "Boring, shy Hull male". Why would you ask for that to be your advert??

I hate it when anyone thinks that they're being really original by leaving an advert like
"Nice little runaround, needs some TLC. Own garage. Needs regular servicing". Ha ha ha. Except you're the 10th Mr. Origninal of the day.
My favourite ever though might be "female, gambian, free from drugs and disease, seeking husband." Wow.
I saw an advert once that said something like

"Wanted, Lawnmower, must work"

As if anyone would want a non-working lawnmower !!
