On an electric metre after pressing yellow button there are different modes but in reading the usage the import and total are recorded they are different but what are they .any idea?

Are you asking about an electric meter measuring the 230V mains supply?
If so, are there any identifying marks/model numbers on it?

Not a problem weecalf.
Still not quite sure what type of meter you're referring to, but do you have solar panels feeding into the national grid?

No this a building which has it electric monitored every month for usage it's just of the grid
