This isn't early on? Basic tests are reliable from one day late. Spotting doesn't mean you are or you aren't. It could be implantation bleeding. Some people spot the whole way through. It could be just your cycle playing up. The only way to know is to take a test. Are you trying for a baby?

I'm pretty sure I started my regular period,, I just don't understand why I was 12 days late... but thanks for all the advice. (: rely appreciated. I'm still going to my doctor appointment on thee 14 tho. I'm going to keep my head up tho and keep trying.
How long have you been trying?
Oh dear, confused - you are certainly confused about the reasons why you want to have a baby. There is no guarantee that your child will love you, and certainly not "always" love you - people don't have children as companions. I think you need to think about your priorities.

The GP will almost certainly suggest you keep a chart of your periods, if you don't know when the last one was. It's necessary if you are trying to conceive. Please do consider why you are doing it though, babies are expensive, highly demanding, very hard work, not all cuteness and cuddles.
I'm almost afraid to ask - but what does your partner think?
How old are you? I am a little concerned at your reasons for having a child, I have heard the same reason (almost word for word) from several young girls who have had dysfunctional childhoods. its not the solution.

I'm 22 years of age with a husband. Were just trying to have a child because we want family. I love kids and would like one of my own. I'm not most young women either. I got kind of offended with your answer. Maybe you should think before you speak. Thanks for the concern. But I'm a women I make my own decisions.
Have you been stressed lately? Stress can cause delays in your period. A few months ago my period was delayed by nearly a whole month because of work related stress.
Buy the fertility kit, its good and tells you when you are most fertile. good luck xx
