Car Seat Question

hi i have a 2nd hand asis britax carseat that i want to use in a civic, However because it's old and they don't sell it anymore i can't find out if it's suitable for that car - anyone any idea how i could find out before tomorrow?

Probably need to know the age of the Civic to receive an accurate answer.
If it fits into the car securely it is fine ,car seats are made to fit any car not for specific models.

Halfords assist in fitting car seats, maybe worth a trip for advice.
Halfords fit new car seats that you have bought from them , they don't fit second hand ones.
bednobs we have 5 car seats of various sizes and 5 cars in the family , all different models/makes, all the car seats fit all the cars with no problem.
A child car seat should fit any car , apart from very old ones pre 1980 or a few cars with racing type full harness seat belts.
They certainly used to Eddie. My youngest is now 9, so I may be out of date. The only thing then, was not to put a rear-facing carseat in a seat with an airbag.
I remember the air bag thing pixie but my new car a Zafira has 7 seats and 7 air-bags one to each seat . So there is no way you can put a baby seat in a seat without an air bag.
