Has anyone ever seen an image standing over them at night..........................

My husband, who doesnt believe in ghosts or here after at all. Has told me he turned over in bed the other night and saw a woman standing over me in bed. He didnt know who she was but said it didnt worry him to see her, and then he looked away and she was gone. I have been thinking about this and just wondering if anyone else has had something like this happen. It doesnt worry me at all infact I am really interested.

Yes. But it was my rather drunk sister who I believe was trying to communicate.

I'm not really a believer in this sort of thing and I suspect it could also be a really vivid dream as much as it could be something spooky.

I had a similar experience. I opened my eyes to see Tina Turner looking down on me. I have never been the same since !

We had one house where anyone who stayed there saw something or other, mainly located on the second landing off the main stairs or in the bathroom and master bedroom that went off it.
We all saw something sometimes when wide awake and one lad scared himself stupid with what he described as a huge filing cabinet falling down the upper stairs towards him.
None of it ever hurt anyone (scared a few) but we were comfortable enough with it after a bit.

I also thought sleep paralysis, but that's usually quite a frightening experience.

Exactly- not the sort of thing you would imagine as a ghost if you were the fanciful type, I saw a dark squareish shape once there too so not sure if that wasn't what he saw.There was so much that went on there that we came to almost totally disregard it in the end.

Wolfie, don't you find it a bit worrying when the cats watch something that you can't see crossing the room? Personally I think they just do it to annoy us, but you never know

Yes, I'll never forget seeing a horrible tall female figure at the bottom of my bed (I was very young). Apparently it's called night hag or something like that.

btw, before anyone asks my mum was a small good looking woman :)
