My husband has friends who take drugs. I knew he was friends with them, they are in their twenties, my husband is 51. He owns a clothes shop and nightclub and these two girls work for him. I know one of the girls is selling the drugs from the shop and in the club, i can't say anything because i found out from a personal facebook account. Ive had a go at him for being friends with them, he says he has nothing to do with what they are doing. He's lending them money as he says he that type of person if someone want something he will help them out. I can't confront him about the selling of drugs, and i don't think he'd believe me anyway. Im really upset by all this and told him to stop hanging around with them, but all he says is im not doing nothing wrong.

good luck swan...hope things work out but i think that anyone who knowingly withholds details of anybody dealing drugs are themselves morally wrong regardless of consequences to themselves and they contr4ibute and encourage the use and drug dealing

Mate... if you had a brain you'd be dangerous.
Are you being purposely awkward smart1?
A woman is reputedly selling drugs and their appears to be evidence to support this... that to me is the only thing I would be worried about the other implications are about trust and openess in a relationship. One thing is to me an all or nothing it is wrong deal with it.. the other is somethings wrong talk about it...
If my other half was hanging around with two young women and taking them out for meals then he would be being questioned very strongly about it, he would be told to stop doing it and if he didn't I would walk out on him. The drugs are a whole different matter.
the day when this site tells me what i can and can't answer is the day i leave. PS if people limited their replies to that of which they have an intimate knowledge, there would be about 3 answers a day (from barmaid, biuldersmate and the builder probably)

I have a feeling he knows about it, but has no involvement, it worries me because he's a decent bloke and he's hanging out with these people.
If it were me...I would give old crimestoppers a call..maybe he needs a short sharp shock to bring him back to earth !

I have police officer in family, im going to let them know what's happening. If he gets in the sh!t maybe it will give him a sharp shock. He's not going to put me and my children through this cr@p.
would not do it through family connections...anonymous phone call more likely to be acted on !!
Question Author
Have thought about doing it anonymous. Spoken to this person, and they have told me that they have been keeping an eye on the club for a while.
Good luck Swan...let us know how things go...you can't just turn a blind eye and stick your head in the sand ..it will not just go away without some intervention !!!!

Thanks Murraymints, it will be for his own good.
So what will happen to you and the kids if he gets arrested and his club gets shut down?
ummm...more likely that the offending staff are lifted and he as owner gets reprimand...as long as he does not try to defend or excuse their behaviour...Police more likely to respect him as a business if he washes his hands and clears out the rubbish !!!

You reckon?

It's his job to know what's happening with his staff and his club. Something like this could mean there is a very strong possibility that he loses his license.
It is pretty dumb to allow anyone to take or sell drugs on your business premises. It is a grave threat to their livelihood. For his own good you must tell him and he must make sure it doesn't happen again.

I have plenty of friends who take drugs, and that is their business, but I would never allow it in my house.

It's like talking to a brick wall, feels like he always knows best and i know sod all. He's always stressed and its just the thought that she will offer him something and he'll take it and he'll just rely on them then.
How long have you been married?

Remember, you don't even know if it's true. Your daughter read a coded message!!
Question Author
Yes Murraymints, i can imagine him defending her, that's what cheeses me off. The thing is my daughter also works at the shop and she's had people going in demanding to speak to this girl and not leaving until they've got her phone number. She told my husband and he didn't say a thing.
