believe me, if your ankles and knees decline to function, even walking ain't easy. However, my parents walked until they got a car and then they drove. They only went abroad to lick Hitler, though. Big-time international travel didn't hit Britain untili the 50s.

I only ever got on skis once in my life! I managed to knock down four priests and put my head and sholders through a glass window! Thinking about it ... that was actually not a bad run ... for an atheist! lol! Took up sakting after that! Still love the snow though!:o)

Well, I met my BF on a skiing hol, so we both love it.
