MY partners ex stopped paying full maintenance a few years back and recently stopped entirely. Amount was payable until house sold and is now a substantial sum.The solicitor advised waiting until house sold in which case the money would be taken from the proceeds of the house sale. Solicitor appears to be dithering on ground that ex may delay sale etc. From what I have seen previously recommended I think a D11 should be issued immediately to enforce sale and recoup costs and lost interest. And the cost for this should be abou £80. The solicitor has said it will cost x,000 to take it back to court and she could potentially loose the sale. Any advice would be appreciated.
