Apparently he was a previous member called InAPickle, who was troubled. It all came out when he posted a picture, supposedly of himself from during the war, and another member recognized it from a website for people trying to track details of dead family member from the war. It was a big scandal at the time.

I used to get on quite well with IAP. Don't remember the scandal though, must have been when I stopped posting for a while.

I've followed this intriguing saga and thought how few of the posters then seem to be around now. I also found the same on the Q & P line which I used to haunt until quizmail closed.
