I have been with my partner for over 5 years, he has always wanted kids, I was adamant at the beginning that I did not want them. However, I am 36 now, and he is 35, and we are not getting any younger. I have a house on rent, and he has a house that he currently lives in, and I have moved back in with him from renting my house out. We have decided that we will continue to rent mine, and he will rent his and buy a house together. I have talked about babies, and he has never pressured me, but I am so not sure...I am constantly thinking of the negative...money, how my figure will look (as people say I have a great body) houses, work etc...I am so confused, and have given myself a time limit as to make a decision, as it is not fair on my partner. What do others think?.......

Yes that's what I meant - sometimes it's easier just to answer the strapline of the question rather than read the rest :o)
Hi Welsh - we're all grand thanks - oldest two back to school, middle one started school only the two little ones left at home (feel a bit redundant to be honest - even been thinking about getting a job!). Hope you and yours are all ok too.
Hi Sher, yes fine here in Porthcawl. very wet and windy at the moment! ....End of the season!........Hope you find a nice way to fill your time now that the little ones are at school!.......................
Have it.....a potential tenant
Sorry Tamborine! you've lost me now!................
welsh....my weird soh.
Ok Tamborine, no problem!..........lol.................
No one can tell you when it's the right time for you hun. It's a very personal choice but in my opinion I would not wait much longer if you do decide to go ahead as at 36 your fertility will be reducing and it may or may not be difficult to fall pregnant at all if you believe a programme that was on the tv a while back.
In regards to money etc there will never be the perfect time to afford one you just manage. I unexpectedly fell pregnant with my 2nd when I had just handed my notice in at work to become self employed and my husband had lost his job and we were ok. I think everything happens for a reason and if its meant to be its meant to be. Go for it, sounds like you want to!
