Hi I've come down with sickness and upset tummy - I'm 12 weeks pregnant. How long should I let it go on before speaking to midwife? Am only managing to keep litle sips of water down (feel utterly AWFUL!!) This has been since about 9pm last night. Cheers

I personally would give it 24 hours & then speak to either your midwife &/or GP. I had the flu at 12 weeks & my GP was great & he really put my mind at ease although he couldn't give me anything. Babies in the womb are very resilient. Good luck & hope you feel better soon x
the baby will be taking everything it needs from your reserves so will be fine although you feel awful and cant eat
Dont let this go on too long before speaking to your midwife, it could be a condition called hyperemisis gravidarum (basically chronic vomiting in pregnancy) and you can become dehydrated and acidotic very quickly. So if it lasts over 24 hours, call your midwife.
