no i use a boots sterilising liquid and a pan of cold water then rinse with cooled down boiled water like it ways on the bottle, but i dont use bottles alot only when i really need to when out and about i normally just breast feed/
Sounds like it could be reflux. it's really common in babies and happens when the muscles in the food pipe aren't yet stron enough to stop food coming back up. Reflux causes babies to become more clingy because they're uncomfortable, but most grow out of it by about 6months, you should get her checked by hv/gp though just incase.

There are lots of things you can try for reflux - keeping her still and upright after feeding, make sure she's not feeding too quickly, even thicker feeds such as sma staydown can help but you'd need to discuss it with the proffesionals first. Also keeping the head of the cot/moses basket raised slightly may help.

I know how much hard work and how upsetting it can be because my little girl has reflux too, I got sick (pardon the pun) of being told that it wasn't as much as it looked, but it really isn't.

if it is reflux and it's severe as my daughter has there are also medications which can be tried but I'm told that in most cases the above advice will work.

Thanks, carliex - just wondered, because one of my son's became very sick and ill and the sterilizer was found to be at fault. Glad you can breastfeed, anyway. Best way.
K8b could be right. Have you tried using different teats when bottle feeding - or is your daughter sick after taking milk from yourself as well? If it's just the former, then the problem lies somewhere with that method of feeding, but speak to your midwife about your worries. I'm sure everything'll turn out alright. x
I would try Infamil...Worked wonders on my sickly baby. (after 6 weeks of it) Within two days ..no screamming ..no sick..no scrunched up. Took a long in the tooth midwide to suggest it tho..love her...shame she's retired & wont be here for my next.
I didnt breast feed ( ooohhh wicked mum you all mutter)..have healthy child. & I used bottles that you just pop in the microwave to sterilize on their own.
