It seems a lot of mummies have popped! I have been up to my eyes in pink babygrows and dirty nappies and managed to miss Mini Miss CRX's arrival. It's been lots of fun though, I love being a mummy - perhaps it's still a novelty at the moment though LOL :-)

So who else is due when or has had their babbas?

How is Lorrymac doing? Andrea how did your appt go this week? Anyone else I am missing? X

Five and half months now and can't get enough of onion ring crisps.
hello, glad to hear you're enjoying it all!!

I'm 34 wks and since we're talking cravings ILS mine are pickled onions, milk and mars bars not in the same mouthful tho!! I can't believe it - I HATE milk and mars bars!!! lol.
Its strange what your body does to you when your pregnant. I have a friend who is vegetarian and spent months craving bacon rolls when she was pregnant but she never gave in. I still don't know how she managed because i only have to look at onion rings and they are gone :)
Wow what is it with the bacon rolls? lol

I am also vegetarian and every time I walked past the bakers in town and got a whiff of the fresh bacon rolls my mouth would start watering and I had to waddle far away as possible as quickly as possible lol I too never gave in!

Im wondering who is going to break the current trend and have a boy lol

lol noknowledge, its ok so long as you have a big enough beer belly to pass yourself off as being pregnant ;)
Hi Nat,

Sounds like your enjoying your little handful and having lots of fun. Bet you've already forgotton the labour???? (or most of it LOL)

I'm 35+5 today (Monday), not long now, but as I've finished work, I'm already bored! I've packed and now resorted to unpacking and finding better ways to pack my stuff! OMG!

My appointment went well, the consultant said that they have no problem with me trying for a natural birth, but I have to see them at 40 weeks so they can judge when to give me a sweep (if needed) so I don't go too far over my DD!

Will be on c-section allert because of scar, but not rushed or scary like before!

Feel 100% better now! (Well, apart from if they said they could teleport the little madam out, that would be fine too!)

Nice to hear from you Nat, keep us (un-popped) bumps updated! x x x x x

Isn't gerkins and icecream a common craving? That's similar to the pickled onions and mars bar isn't it? I didn't have any particular cravings apart from .... err.... everything really :-)
Even at the end of the pregnancy when women are supposed to have smaller stomachs and so can't eat so much I was still wanting to scoff all the time. Thankfully I was pretty careful and have only put on one stone, and as I barely seem to have time to eat now I should shift that pretty quick.

ILS - Five and a half months?? That's gone so quick, over half way there now :-D When is your next scan? You might be the one to buck the trend and have the boy.

Andrea, it's mind numbing isn't it? Daytime TV drove me to distraction. When I started my maternity leave my house had never been so clean, everything sparkled because I cleaned everything out of pure boredom, and I, too, packed, unpacked, reapcked and packed again. Only to find that I didn't need ha;f the stuff when I got there anyway. Although my midwife said she was very impressed with how compact I was compared to a lot of new mums who take half the house.
Next scan on friday the 30th may. Hopefully it will not have its legs crossed like the last time. I'm so fed up up buying cream stuff. If it is a boy it will be the first one in my family for 67 years. So... no pressure there then :)
Question Author
Wow! 67 years? Do you have a preference as to what sex it is?

I know what you mean re neutral colours though, it was driving me nuts as everything was white or cream, but now I am getting pretty tired of pink, pink and yet more pink! She does look adorable in it though :-)

I don't know where you shop or if there is one near you, but Primark were pretty good for having nice neutral coloured blankets (yellows and greens) and not just the bog standard white or cream. We got a lovely soft one that is lemon with blue and pink lines on it.

Oh dear, I just realise how sad I sound....
Psychick, is that Bakers oven or Central Pie Shop for the fresh bacon rolls?
lol its the Central Pie Shop that always has the whiff of bacon rolls!

Well thats two of you that are from the same place as me, wonder how many more of us there are lol
Not bothered what it is as long as its healthy. Although a wee boy would be nice. Haven't been in primark for a long time but will pop in at the weekend for a look.
I love snow

You must be very excited. Hope s/he uncrosses his/her legs this time! He He!

I've got 4 weeks to go and am feeling rather cooked and ready to pop! Don't think I have another 4 weeks of growth left in my belly! And the little madam is having lots of fun and games with my bladder and ribs (not atall amused at the mo!)

Oh well, the things we do eh? It'll be worth it though! ;0)
I hope so. Can i ask when you were at my stage (22 weeks) how often did you feel the baby move?
I Love Snow

Sorry, I came off line and didn't see your post. At 22 weeks I think i'd go a few days without feeling baby move and then in one day I might feel her move lots. It all depended on what position she was in.

I felt my son a lot earlier on in my first pregnancy, but this time it was later!

I think it was around 25+ did I start feeling her regular and even now at 36 weeks, she doesn't kick a lot.

Hope that helps chick x x x
Hi Pyschick
I'm not some crazy stalker honest I just saw in a previous post you thought you were from the same place as Misty.
Its no secret me and Misty are related, but she escaped from the Rock.
I do wonder how many more Swampies are on AB.
Whats your definition of a swampie, because I'm a swampie where I come from
Morning Forget
To me its someone born on the Island I was born and dragged up on.

Don't want to give too many details out on here. Were you born on an Island?
