Hahaha! Me too except with TV!

My crazy granda has the kids believe that a leprechaun called McGubligan lives under the fire and he watches them and knows if they misbehave LOL...

I used the word 'paraphernalia' in an essay at school when I was about 13 - it was in context but I spelt it "paraffinalia".
I'll threaten OH with McGubligan when he's had too many Jack Daniel's. He won't know whatever I'm on about, but that's to my advantage, not his!

When I saw a wedding party at the Town Hall, and I thought the bride had to chose one of the men there and then!

Also my friends cousins were irish and they told us everyone in ireland drove around in beadies (spelling? Bee-days) and multicoloured rabbits were everywhere!!
As a child I always read the name Hermione as 'Hermy 1' to an extent still do.
the privacy glass in our old back door made lovely angel patterns after dark when she streetlights shone in. I thought it was angels out in back garden.

I also believed that the switch on car dashboard really did turn on the lights down the centre of road
