Some People Say that rubbing a wet match over them helps. Yeah...woteva.

i used to have a large wart in between my little finger and my, erm, finger next to that, and, if you book yourself in for a doctors treatment everymonth, they blast it everymonth with a special liquid. this burns the rout and can take up to 5 blasts (5 months) to be rid of them. this depends on the size and deepness of the root. Also, to help even more, fileing it with a normal nail file will soften the hard crust of it and will smallen the wart, this will reduce the amount of time you have to go to the doctors. Within 5 months at the most, they wil have gone.

hope this helps, from matthew

I had warts when I was little and this always worked for me, honest...

Get a bit of raw bacon rind and rub it on the wart, then go and bury it in the garden, but you musn't tell anybody whereabouts.  As the bacon rind rots away your wart will get smaller and eventually disappear.

But you have to believe it will work otherwise it won't!!

Enough of this hocus-pocus and witchcraft!!  I've had really stubborn warts on my hands since my late teens.  Some went away on their own, but I finally chased a really old tough one from the side of my thumb using Wartner.  It uses the same technique as the freezing carried out by the doc, but is absolutely painless.  The kit costs around 13 from the pharmacy and is meant to allow around 10 treatments, but I got rid of my stubborn old friend after only 4 or 5 blasts.  I dont want to advocate ignoring the safety advice on the package, but I found that following their instructions did little good for the first couple of shots.  However, if you give it a good blast, it'll really get rid.  Its the only proper remedy Ive ever found.  Good luck andy!
