Divorce And Pension

Hi,

I am currently going through divorce. I have been married for 10 years and have been in my pension for 28 years. What percentage is my soon to be divorced wife entitled to? I thought it was 10/28 x by 0.5 I heard rumour that she is entitled to 10/28, which does seem strange as I would have thought that over the 10 years we were together, she is only entitled to half of that value as they should be shared between husband and wife.

it will be whatever you and she can negotiate. there is no set amount
