Does a bath/shower before intercourse help conception? I read this somewhere a while ago and was just wondering if it was a wives tale of not. Thanks!

i suppose it may have some influence if it relaxes you but cant really see it being an aid to conception
I can't remember. LOL
I heard the more relaxed you are the more chance you have of conceiving that's why people conceive on holiday ect. Mine was on my Birthday!! Try it, it's worth a shot.
I also heard getting your partner to hold your legs up after he's done his business & then put a pad in your knickers after. Good luck x
Depends what you bath/shower with!

Thanks guys! I have some good answers there. I was expecting people to laugh at me. But youve been great. Thanks ever so much and I will give the shower a try to relax me. It wont hurt me. And the legs thing is different. I will try that too. Thanks again!
Bathing or showering before intercourse is not always a good idea. During ovulation the secretions in the vagina change to help the sperm move a bit easier to the cervix and beyond. Washing "down there", especially with perfumed soaps etc, or bubbles in the bath can change the pH of these secretions so changing natures way if you like. Best advice is to relax and have fun trying!
