I have recently started weaning my daughter, and am using the odd jar of Hipp baby food. Unfortunately I am having problems removing some food stains which I think are caused by either turmeric or paprika.
I have tried using Napisan and Vanish, but am still stuck with these stains.
I do not want to use bleach as some of the clothes are coloured.
Any parents out there who can offer any advice?

Dont think its a parent issue just a universal issue, they are the basis for curry at least tumeric is,and thats extremely difficult to get out once on clothes sorry!!
I find Oxi Clean the best stain remover on the market.
Hello! I have had some success by rubbing the stain with washing soap, and soaking in soda crystals prior to washing in the normal way. The soda crystals do not appear to affect the colours of the garments.
Dare I ask why a young baby is being given food containing turmeric and paprika?
