I was born with this, (its very rare in girls apparently, lucky me lol)

What are the doctors doing? If it is pyloric stenosis he will need an operation to get rid of the blockage. Nowadays its a pretty rutine operation, and only leaves a small scar, I'm sure its keyhole. When I had mine (at 6 weeks old, 30 years ago) there was nothing like that, I still have a scar right down my front, doesnt bother me at all.

Try not to worry too much, its a much easier thing to fix nowadays
I am over 50 and had this surgery at 6 weeks old. The doctor's had no idea what was wrong with me but told my parents if I was a boy it would probably be plyoric stenosis. My dad had plyoric stenosis so I was rushed in for surgery. In those days I was cut from side to side. But by the blessing from above all went okay and no future problems. This condition is hereditary and may even skip a generation or two before showing up again.
