We are flying with them to Paphos from Manchester in April after they bought GB Airways. They start at the end March. Not over thrilled about it to be honest but there is no way we could have got a flight as cheap so near to the time. The only problem we have at the moment is we they haven't told us what terminal we fly from.
I think they will probably be ok, just watched airline too many times. The good thing about it is that other companies may reduce their costs because the easyjet prices are a lot cheaper than all the others ( ours was roughly 400 cheaper at the time of booking than the next cheapest)
We're flying with easyjet tomorrow! so I hope they are ok! lol we're flying to faro tho.

Wignut, if i give you my email address can you please please email me with your thoughts when you return, as we will also have a 9 month old with us and we really dont want any problems, it would be greatly appreciated.x
I've flown many times with Easyjet, from Liverpool, all over Europe, and never had any problems
Flown with them quite a few times, never had any problems. Make sure you are at the airport in plenty of time (would do so with any airline not just easyjet). Flying with them again in March and then in the summer

lol, wingnut, sorry about the spelling then, bit early for me. x
Hi, I fly Easyjet regularly and have done since they started. They give a good service and i have never had any problems, maybe the odd delay but this happens with all airlines (the worst delay was with Emirates) and quite often they have arrived early. Enjoy your holiday.
I've flown with them a couple of times and never had any trouble and would fly with them again. They just do what they say on the tin. If you're used to flying business class with BA it may be a bit of a come down, but if you're an average joe used to an economy flight to your holiday destination I don't think you'd notice the difference - they don't allocate seats but do let people with kids get on first....I've always got a seat with the person I've gone with too.
We've flown easyjet from Liverpool and found it a much pleasanter experience than flying AirFrance BUT be careful not to check in any more than the stated allowance. You can take as much handluggage as you can carry in the specified size bag(no check on bag size when we've used them!) but if you go slightly overweight you are penalised ehavily. Our last trip was for a month long cruise and I was just a few pounds overweight and it cost me40 but another passenger had to pay 96 so be careful

from my experience they are much better than BA or any other more premium airlines. the only thing i would say is stick to their guidelines to the letter and all will run nice and smoothly which is what we all want when we travel. enjoy your trip!
I've flown to Copenhagen & Alicante with EasyJet. No problems at all.
Hi again tamirra! I hope you see this! I was already winging my way to Portugal when you replied after me last Sunday, so sorry I couldn't reply back ;o)

Got back late this afternoon and can tell you that both flights there and back were hassle free and over all a fine experience :o)
I think this was mainly down to the fact we had speedy boarding so If you can, pay extra to get it but be prepared for 'peed off' people to have a go at you like someone did to us today at Faro airport!!!! She came over (from the back of a very long queue) ranting at us saying "is there some special line for people with kids or something which means you can all go ahead of us?" someone took great delight in telling her yes in fact there was and it was called speedy boarding which we all had!

If you don't have SB then to be on the safe side be there well (well well well...) before the 2 hours that they reccommend.

Drinks aren't too badly priced either. Tea/coffee/cappuchino etc. 1.70 but it is a big cup. Box of apple juice 70p. Big Mars bar duo 1.
Obviously more than in the shops but much cheaper than a motorway services and what the hey! Your on holiday!

Anything else you want to know about just ask I will keep checking back on and off but will also subscribe to this thread to get notified by e-mail :o)

Morning and so glad all went well for you all, ive heard so many bad reports of the speedy boarding too, saying its a waste of time and money, but do you think that it wont be so bad as we will be going to Cyprus in Oct so its not peak season so hopfully wont be too busy? is there a lot of leg room on the planes too? Anyway what part of Portugal did you go too, we went there last year, didnt think much of it at all? take care and speak soon.

ps
what was this private message you sent to me in the sports answer bank, couldnt find one after i go an email saying that you had left one there for me??? xx
Hi tamirra :o)

Going from experience of this holiday, SB was most definately worth it, esp when we got to Faro airport and saw the masses all waiting to check in, I hate to think how long we would have had to stand there for and wonder if it would have been a mad dash after all that to catch our flight in time.
Unfortunatly this was our first family holiday ever and before that was our honeymoon 9 years ago so I haven't really got anything else to compare it to. The leg room was reasonable and we didn't really experience any hanging around.

We went to Albufeira, well just outside of it. we stayed in a friends villa and had to do a lot of walking to get anywhere as we couldn't afford to hire a car and didn't want to have to rely on taxi's. We had a great time tho and am pretty bummed that it was over so quickly :o(

I think the PM thingy was just to tell you that I was wanting to ask to you join my friends list, but SAB has been playing up and doesn't always open when I try it. It doesn't matter now anyway as you have seen my messages :o)

Take care and anything else just shout :o)
