My niece of 20 months can count from 1-10..
Ive been told this is very good for a 20 month year old ?

yes this is very good. my son is 20 months and counts to 5. but rather than learn 6-10 he is trying to do 1-5 backwards.
she is obviously a bright child so needs lots of encouragement. my niece was very bright at that age but then her parents stopped sitting with her and reading or counting so the child lost interest, now she cant be bothered to try.
thats very good. My son had his 2 yr check yesterday and they didnt even ask about numbers so i presume they dont expect them to know them at that age at all. My son could count to 10 and occasionally 15 at that age
It's lovely. Children of that age have brains like sponges - they soak up all sorts of things. A lot of it's just following, parrot fashion, but never-the-less, this is how they first start to learn.
