advice needed

hi, im new here so plz bear with me. my 17yr old decided to up and leave over the wkend and i havent heard from her. although she has contacted freinds of hers. the police cant do nothing as she is of age where she can leave without parent consent and cant force her back if she dont want to. is there anything i can do?

Go to an English class?
It might be a good idea to contact her friends and pass on messages - ask them to tell her how worried you are - or write a letter for them to pass on. Also try e-mailing her.

It's probably just going to take time - but letting her know you aren't angry, just worried, might speed things up.

thanks for replying srh. i have tried that but the one that she 'used' to hang with dont no where she is only the area as she was told. i have tried her own mobile but no hope as it goes to voicemail. ive been told she had new ppl she hung with but no one knows who they were.
my friend ran away at 16 her mom was the same as you she kept on texting but got nowhere. she then found out where she was but didnt let her daughter know. she sent the odd message just saying hope your ok and my friend soon went running back home when she realised life is tough,
maybe you have to let her make her own mistakes, putting the pressure on might make the situation worse

i moved in with a mate at 18, expecting it all too be good but i was soon begging for my room back after 4 weeks
