I have an MP3 player and want to transfer music onto it from my laptop.
How would i go about doing this?
Basically i want to put a cd of mine in my laptop and save all the songs to it then transfer them. Is this possible?

rip the CD to to your hard drive using windows media player.

and then open the containing folder copy the files, then access your MP3 player via "My Computer" and paste the files into it.

Make sure you select the audio format from the Rip menu.
It will default to WMA not MP3 unless selected .

huh? oh no sarah, now you have confused me :(
I thought i just had to put my disc in my laptop and then save the song to my harddrive then copy across :(

Its ok i have sossed it out.
It was easy actually as it automatically converted them to a WMA file but they still play on it.
