Hi all. I'm sure you've all been there!, my 15 month old daughter has suddenly decided she isn't interested in food she's taken with no trouble for the last while. I give her a spoon herself as well as me feeding her but this doesn't really help. I obviously don't want her to fill up on snacks and rubbish so do I just leave it until she's so hungry she has to have it?

No maggs she isn't, it seems at the moment it's just dinner she's refusing which she has at about 12.30, it's rare that we'd give her anything after her breakfast which she has at about 8.
Maybe she is over hungry and a bit tired? Have you tried feeding her earlier, about 11.30 or 12 o'clock?
My granddaughter is 18 months old and my daughter tells me that occasionally she won't eat her dinner ( at tea time, sandwiches at lunch) These are meals she's been very happy to eat on other days. So my daughter just leaves it and doesn't press her but encourages her but this doesn't work if she's in the mood to not eat. When this happens she might be given a plain biscuit or cracker with her evening milk (at 6.30) The next day Sophie usually is eating as good as gold.
Hope this helps - kids are funny!
Hi mats - it maybe her teeth are on the move - my son used to stop eating because his teeth were playing him up, as soon as thet broke through he was fine again.
I agree with Hellyon also a cold can put them off eating.
