Hi, My wife had a beautiful dark haired little girl this morning and both are fine. We're after 3 names, as the other kids have 3 names and are open to any suggestions. Unusual or classic are fine, preferably something to reflect our roots, my wife being Jewish and me being Irish.Open to any suggestions really as we hadn't thought much about girls names since they thought it was a boy:)

Congratulations

My grand-daughter (7 months) is named Skyla. Apparently, in some midlle eastern language it means 'learned one'.

I'm rubbish at names, but congratulations!! Hope kittens toes are better too..

Congratulations nox & Mrs nox :o)

My babies were born with lots of dark hair too ~ simply beautiful! ok, to the names...I like quite a few Irish & Jewish names. The Irish ones I particularly lie are Eilis (ay-lish) & Niamh (neeve) my great great grandmother was Jewish & was called Ketura (Kitty for short).

My daughter is Eve (although we have always called her Evie) & I also have a Rachael. How about Eden? I quite like that too..

I found this site http://www.babynames.org.uk/jewish-girl-baby-names.htm maybe it can help you? far too many to list here but quite a few unusual & widely used names ~ good luck & enjoy your new addition :o)

Congratulations, noxlumos and family, on your new addition to the family. Love, whiskeysheri x
congratulations treasure every moment because they grow up so quickly. my daughters are called jazmin elisha and chloe rae. let us know what name you decide on x
Congratulations on your new arrival. You didnt say if your other children where boys or girls.? anyway here is a few I have heard of lately as my daughter had her 4th baby in november and we was looking for names then,(she has three girls and we all felt sure it was another but it was a beautiful little boy) any way -Sophie-Bethany-Danielle-Caitlyn-Lucy-Chania-Paige-Alec- just a few to go on with. hope this helps a bit.
Congratulations to you all. ABers have put some great names on here, most of which I love. Others I like are Erin, Lily, Darby, Darcy, Siobhan, Keira, Caitlin. Whatever you choose, enjoy your new baby - congrats!
massive congratulations on your fantastic news noxlumos. All the very best to you, mrs Nox, and all the other jnr nox's on their new sibling. Names are such a personal thing, I'm not sure I could advise but here's a thought....why not ask the other kids to come up with names they like? Maybe you and mrs nox could have the final say, but I'm sure they'd love to have some input. Whatever names you chose will suit your beautiful new daughter perfectly, and she's so lucky to be born into such a great family. (what about lucky as a middle name?). xxx
my name is miriam which everyone tells me is lovely although I shorten it to Mimi which is also cute.

Miriam is the oldest hebrew form of Mary which would make it both Jewish and relevent to Ireland (Mary being popular there by culture.) I do like my name and I have never met another.

My middle name is Ruth which is also jewish now although it wasn't originally, and it meanihng is one which reflects a person capable of great friendship. It is also less common, though I think it is occuring more and more now.

Congratulations on the birth of your daughter. I'm very happy for you. Shalom to you and to both of them!
forgot to say nox, I also have dark hair (and very dark brown eyes) which has got a red tinge to it. But, all the best girls are dark!!!!!!!!!

and forgot to add, I'm sure whatever you choose will be just beautiful. My children all have three names too, I have a
Ruth Eve Elizabeth
(Henry Eran Isaac)
Mary Joy Grace
Hope Ernestine Rose
Tifaine Lydia Constance

(D'you think I went a bit too jewish?)

Anyways, how exciting for you, congrats again.
well done and many congrats. We have a daughter Caiti ?
Many congratulations to you all....a new arrival in the family is always exciting! My youngest granddaughter is called Erin, which I love! One thing for sure though..no matter what name you choose...your daughter will somehow suit it!!

Many congratulations to you and Mrs Noxie ( and the junior Noxies too!), we have included Niamh, Rachel, Hannah and a very serious Rebecca, into our name mixes.

I Love The Name Charlie For A Little Girl Or Sophia.
sense4all, Niamh is such a beautiful name, I absolutely love it. Amy - my wee boy is called Charlie! Only a few weeks ago, a baby girl was born in the same tiny wee village where we live, and she's called Charlie too.

Many Congratulations

My daughter is Emma-Louise (only heard of twice) though she prefers emmylou. My wife is Linnett and as far as I know as she invented it it's the only one

My other favourites are Rachael, Rebecca, Vicky and traditional names such as Susan Jane and Katherine

Congratulations to you and your family, noxlumos. I have always adored the name, Mariette. It is both Jewish and Catholic(French). Best wishes.

Just want to say MAZEL TOV to you all! Don't rush into choosing names for your beautiful baby daughter. You have loads of time to get it right.
