Has anyone seen that BBC2 are showing Top Cat at lunchtime at  the moment? Not as funny as I remember, but still lovely to see the opening and closing titles again! I always loved him going to bed in his wee dustbin with the tv aerial! It's worth taping for that alone! Happy memories!

I used to enjoy watching Top Cat too. But he had a different name at one point, something to do with the BBC not advertising cat food (I think there was a cat food called Top Cat).

Am I sad????????????????????????

I loved that show, Officer Dibble was my favourite character.  I can remember Benny and Toots or was it Chooch? (Or something like that).  What were the names of the other characters, and can anyone remember the name of the famous violinist who appeared in one episode (without cheating?)

Do you mean Benny or Brain? Top Cat is bostin'! My 13 year old daughter loves watching it. Good cartoons will always be loved through the ages. I could never make out what the heck they were singing with that 'provided it's with dignity' line. Thank the lord for teletext.
