We have a grand daughter but not aloud to see her because of our sons "problems", our daughter can't have children. I've just found out (via Facebook) that my neice is having her 3rd baby, she didn't want any children. I ache to be a Grandma but know there's no chance. Hey ho :-(

Yes we have - just hope that when she gets to an age where she can make her own decisions she'll get in touch.

so very sad masma, I am blessed with five grandchildren, three girls and two little boys!..........they are precious, keep me young!..........hope yours will find you as soon as she can!........sure she will want to find you, never give up hope!.........

Too complicated to go into here but believe me we would if we could. We need to think of her rather than ourselves.

We do keep in touch with her day to day life through a contact, not the same but at least we know she's ok.

Remember to write her little letters every now and then, so that when she is older and seeks you out you can show them to her.
