Now its half term, there are kids all over the place on the little scooters. Big kids, little kids, fats kids, older kids. They are a real menace riding around the supermarket and car park.
I had one of these when I was about 6 but soon found them a bit babyish and cissy like, and wanted a bike, so Im just curious with all the technology of computers etc today, what is the big attraction for these ` must have ` items. Im not saying its probably not good for them to get away from computers and out into the fresh air and exercise, Im just curious. And I bet some of them cost as much as a bike.
I think it's brilliant - I had mine til I was about 8 - as you say it gets them out and away from the electronics, and about time too. The kids next door to me have just acquired a pogo stick!
I'd rather have kids on scooters, than cyclists on the pavement, or skateboarders.
Really ? funnygirl. Id love to see that. I once saw a man get off our train, put a cycle helmet and cycle clips on and unfold his bike. It just looked ridiculous with him being in a smart suit etc
There was a bloke in the shop yesterday, he looked about 25 but abit of a skateboard type like my son, and he was carrying this weird metal contraption whilst he was browsing the book shelves, then i realised it was a folded up skooter, lazy git,
