i know teenagers have a habit of lax hygene and tidyness but i find my step-daughters minging behaviour beyond acceptable standards.

like me when i was 15 its messy bedrooms, leaving clothes draped around, leaving cups out etc.

her bedroom is often festooned with various cups displaying levels of bacterial growth etc. but what i witnessed yesterday was period stained pants discarded on the bedroom floor, a couple of pairs. often used tampons will be rolled up in their packaging and left of the toilet cistern. maybe its my fault because i chucked the bin out of the bathroom long ago.

does anyelse witness this level of filthyness? she's in her last year at school, takes no pride in her appearance and has always been lazy/dirty.

Nope...fraid not. I would hit the roof.
I would never allow that, you shouldn't allow that, its a health hazard and quite disgusting.

Gross!!!
We suffer from messy bedrooms and clothes all over the floor but nothing as bad as you describe.
Messy bedrooms....fair enough. The rest is gross....
A bloody good "thrashing " perhaps.

Never too late you know.

I would be ashamed to post this.she has obviously no respect for you or herself needs severe discipline. All teens aren't like that!
To be fair to Snafu....They are step daughters....!
Sqad, you are the sort of father where Social Services step in and rightly take the children away for there protection!!

If I saw you treat any female like that I would happily take you apart myself!!! and I'm not a violent person!

Your views disgust me and would hopefully disgust any parent!!
Ratter..............LOL

Roll up a piece of paper, write THRASH on it, put it on the end of the hook, throw out your line and within 1 min, Ratter has taken the bait.
Sqad you really are an idiot!!

and an usafe one at that!!
Ratter.....quite.
you evidently need a bin in the bathroom. and she needs her own laundry basket, and a good talking to.

does she not have any friends over to witness this mess?
get a bin back in the bathroom, along with sanitary bags (nappy bags are cheaper and just as good)

i always had (and still do) a messy bedroom, but thats just gross

yes i need to reinstate the bin in the bathroom, it'll only be me who empties it and tbh it'll just encourage more unsavoury 'parcels' to gather in the bin.

she does have friends over but they tend to stay downstairs. she has absolutely no care or pride in herself and i really dont think it would shame her.

i had a word with her mum last night, tbh i never really went into her bedroom but she's having to share with my daughter (who's 5) for a few months so i notice these things whilst doing bedtime routine.
I don't have a bin in the bathroom. Sanitary stuff is put into nappy sacks and put in the outside bin. It's not hard work,,,
stepmum v stepdaughter - round 1

im 19 and my room normally gets very very messy but it always reaches a certain level where i have to clean it. but period stained pants? erm thats too far, sort her out, cause thats just not right!
