Well I am a mother in law with limited mobility and the worst I do is order from Argos say and someone collects for me,have spent many nights assembling trikes, dolls prams etc its all part of the fun before wrapping, think she is taking the mickey. But for the sake of peace I would wrap them and say nowt unless someone comments on the packaging and then say "I did that"!!

Try to let it pass over you

Take care

mamyalynne thanks for your reply, and yes I know I have to let it go, but it just riles me as I work full time as well as keeping a house and she has all day every day very mobile and is never in,and cant be bothered to get my sons a xmas present, as I said these her only two. Im glad u hae been having fun assembling and packing your xmas ressies, I think as you thats half the fun...I suppose in a way I should feel sorry for her that she doesnt seem to have that contentment in he life, because all she does is moan about anything and everything, and if you dare say anything at all to her, she will just sart crying and then u feel bad. Anyway have a fab xmas xx
i would just say no, youd prefer it ifshe at least wrote the tag...
or make a joke about wherher she even want to know what 'shes' giving them...
tilly just seen your response and I do agree that you are being taken advantage of, its shows a lack of grace on her part and makes you a bigger person try lip biting because confrontations at this time of year always go wrong. Do have a wonderful time, I`m off to assemble yet another baby beggy LOL (don`t forget when the children are older you can tell her to put money in their cards , presuming she can manage that)
