My son is going to Secondary school in September so won't need his Childminder anymore. He has been going there since he was 4 so I would like to by the childminder a present that she can keep. Any ideas?

Thanks for the quick response. I wish I could afford a gold watch. I don't think she wears jewellery though.
Why not give her a lovely framed picture of your Son. Maybe a lovely plant for her garden too.
Like the first poster, I was about to suggest jewellery such as a silver bracelet but if that isn't her thing there's no point. What about a beautiful houseplat in a planter pot?
have you any photos of them together, thought maybe you could have done a little scrap book from over the years. how about a nice photo frame with a pic of the two of them in
One of the best things would be a nice referral letter, so many people don't bother now.

thank you for the answers. I didn;t think she'd want a pic of my son. She has 3 kids of her own. I might just get her something nice like a bangle so it's upto her if she wears it or not. I don't have a picture of them together unfortunately.
What about a nice big, colourful mug? When I used to be a nursery nurse, i was often given mugs from children who were leaving, or at Xmas. I still have them all - all different shapes and sizes, and each one reminds me of the child who gave it to me
