I'd like to say I'm not a prood mate, but u can't be serious. something special
Not being rude or anything, but maybe if you didn't spoil her so much with all these things you wouldn't have this problem. What about vouchers for clothes shops?
have you thought to ask her what she may like?
Prood?

I was serious, what can more special then helping someone less well off? Would you have liked my suggestion she spend some time in a soup kitchen better?
Oxfam is a great idea. For example, you can buy a goat for a poor third world family and your daughter will get a little toy goat as a momento. I did this for a friend and he was chuffed. She will probably feel proud to be part of something like that.
perfume, make-up, cd's, dvd's, pampering voucher for her and to bring a mate, diamond encrusted playboy pouch for her i-pod (I just got my daughter one of them) make a goodie basket of her favourite things. : ))
A trip for her and her friends in a limo

thanx tickled trout n sandrajo gr8 ideas checkin them out right now cheers.....kirsty why is it people like urself automatically say SPOILLED when u see that achild has got alot of material things. my daughter isnt abrat and in top sections for every subject at school and has no tantrums if i can afford it she gets it end of !!!!!!!
There are people on this website who say a h*ll of a lot worse, be thankful they're not around today
Anne hun, you will always get silly comments on here. I have ONE daughter and I cherish her. Like your daughter she is in the top sets and school and doesnt ask for anything. I simply find it a true pleasure giving her thing and in fact I buy something for her EVERYDAY be in a punnet of strawberries or a new CD. We also LOVE going shopping together.

My daughter loves Waterstones so at Christmas I bought a 6ft x 4ft board from B&Q, covered it in wrapping paper with her name printed on the wrapping paper and filled it with Waterstones Vouchers. You should have seen her face !

For her 11th birthday this year she is really into Sponge Bob Square Pants so I have been in New Look EVERY WEEK and bought her all the sponge bob stuff, suitcase, dressing gown, vanity case, bra and knicker set, t shirts, pyjamas, school sets, flashing pens and the works. In addition I have also picked up a 5.00 voucher for New Look each time I have been in there. This should give her quite a few quid to have a good spend in there on the girly stuff they have there.

I have ordered a pink limousine for her, myself and 6 of her friends for 4 hours for a daytime pyjama party (I bought lilac and lemon pjs for each of them in Primark Sale in January for a quid a pair ! Bright Purple sunglasses and tassly shiny headbands. They will be driven to a local soda bar/hot chocolate place, Claires Accessories for them to choose one item each, out and about town and finally being dropped at a local italian restaurant for pizza and sparkling apple juice all round. I dont know what your budget is but for that lot (not including the sponge bob presents is 300.00.

I dont know where you live but Alton Towers have a PINK ROOM where for 400.00 you get 6 tickets and overnight stay for 6 girls in the pink room at Alton Towers Hotel. The rooms are soundproof, have pink hair straighteners, make up, star light make up rooms, a dance floor and a karaoke machine.

Maybe I will book that for her for her 13th Birthday Party. I would have done it this year but I am already taking her on a shopping trip to New York, up to Niagra Falls, snow tubing in Up State New York and we are coming back from Manhattan to Southampton on the Queen Mary 2.

Not spoilt hun, simply OVER INDULGED UPON ! And in my opinion thats the way it should be. She is my REASON TO BE!, I live for her and love every bit of her body and soul !

I used to spend all my money on fags and cider, now I just spend it on fags and her ! (and get someone else to buy my cider for me unless I am on the wagon !)

Whatever you choose to give her, it sounds like she will be eternally grateful.

Dont forget to put a really geeky pic of her in your local newspaper wishing her a HAPPY TEENAGE HOOD !

KATIE. X

p.s. Sandra Jo ! ooooooooooooooohhhhhhhh, where do you get those diamond encrusted pouches from. That is a MUST !

You could also think about one of those Prada Phones.

Doesnt it give you a great lift when you give them something special like that. !

PPS. Anne, I agree with you whole heartedly, that if you can afford it, she gets it. If I cant afford it I put it on a 56 day interest free credit card lol !
I got my neice a great book - 101 Things To Do Before You're Old and Boring. I bought it in Waterstones. Oh - and girls of your daughters age usually still like cuddly toys!
I get this all the time about my daughter, people used to say "she's got far too much and you spoil her", and the truth is if I couldn't afford it she wouldn't get it. She has grown up to be a wonderful intelligent young lady with great prospects ahead of her and I'm very proud. Material things didn't make her turn out to be a spoiled brat I can assure you. Anyway back to a pressie...I hired my daughter a limo when she turned 13 and we had a big party it was great and she was so happy as she was turning into a teenager. That was 5 years ago and she had most things but still loved whatever else me and my family got her, your daughter will appreciate whatever you get her. : ))

Donna: We got the playboy pouch from e-bay, it isn't real diamonds lol....it is beautiful tho : ))
Sandra Jo.

WELL - I am going to get my daughter a REAL DIAMOND ONE LOL !

I will let you know where I get it from.

PMPL. !
