my wife has had to give up work to look after me. waht can she claim i am on disiabilty living allowance

Ring the Benefit enquiry line freepone number 0800 88 22 00 they will be able to advise you and send out the forms .

There is also a Carers line again freephone 0808 808 7777 but only available 10 to 12 and 2 to 4 Wednesday and Thursday this offers advice and information for carers.

we were in the same position 2 years ago and i wished i had asked the same question then!
Your wife will be entitled to Carers Allowence if you have been awarded DLA. You will also be eligible for the Disability bonus from Income support.
If you have children, then you would be entitled to Child Tax credits with the added disability bonus.
