Jennykins, YOU ARE A STAR!!! From the many people who have faced this terrible illness, let me send you my sincerest thanks. I was diagnosed with bone cancer many years ago. It spread and attacked other organs as well. I fought an extremely hard 4 year battle, finally ending up going on a medical trial for a new drug, as there was nothing else left for me to do. Because of people like YOU, I won! Against all odds, I have been cancer free now for about 17 years!!! While I was coming out of my own treatment, my oldest son was diagnosed with brain cancer and sadly, three days before reaching his 21st birthday a few years later, he died in my arms. He too would be so proud of you, as am I! You really are a star and I send you my sincere thanks for taking on the challenge! BIG HUG X

Thank you everyone for all the congrats! you have really made me feel great about doing what I could do to help.
Carakeel- You brought me to tears.
At one point when I was running the home stretch of the last 10k, my left knee went and I almost fell to the ground. But I took a deep breath with tears in my eyes and a lump in my throut and took a second to think about the pain someone with who is fighting cancer go's through every moment of everyday. With that thought I said to my self this is only pain for one day then its over for me. I stood up and told God to bring me home with whatever was left in me... This was done for people like YOU and your son, and for my kids to see me finish, and know that we each can make a big difference in our own little ways. Thank you for sharing your story... I will think of you and your son when I go again, and probably for the rest of my life.
Thanks Jen xxxx
Hi Jenny,

My dad had cancer last year, his dad and grandad both died in 40s due to it, so it greatly affects my family lineage, and probably someday me......your efforts are greatly apreciated.

thanx

Makes me feel embarrased to say I was knackered having done 10 minutes on the bike in the gym last nite.

I hope you are relaxing well now to make up for it.
